About the Book

Women’s Obsession with Shoes contains twenty-one true stories about life told through shoes. They are stories I gathered by interviewing women over a time span of three years. I interviewed twenty women through different lifestyles between the ages of 17 to 67.Then, I transcribed their stories verbatim to written word with minimal editing onto paper in a concise manner for all to read and enjoy. Every story is told in the woman’s voice as if you were sitting next to her while she told her story.

There are four sections to the book- Heels, Flats, Boots, and Sandals. In each section, there are five stories told by women related to that particular style of shoe. The heel section has a bonus story. The stories are humorous, sexy, unusual, or a combination of the three. In addition, there are quotes scattered throughout the book from the women connecting shoes to their lives and the world around them. Some of the stories will spark memories for people and others will merely be entertaining in their own way.
